Vertere RG-1 Reference Motor Drive
The RG-1 Reference Motor Drive pushes control circuit design to its limits to unlock the complete performance potential of the RG-1 Reference Turntable and Tonearm, since the motor is the sole source of energy in vinyl playback and any disturbance in the drive system directly impacts music quality.
A microprocessor generates exact frequencies to drive the synchronous motor at precise speed steps, with a high-quality internal DAC converting those frequencies to the analog Sine and Cosine waves the motor needs, amplified through 20W audio amplifiers for noise-free, distortion-free operation. Three dedicated toroidal transformers and three fully regulated, decoupled power supply rails keep the microprocessor, DAC, and operating circuits isolated from one another.
