PH1 is Lab12's dedicated phono interconnect, built with different dielectrics and shielding from the general-purpose RCA1 cable specifically to protect the very low output signal coming off a cartridge before it reaches your phono stage.
A 4N braided copper ultra-high-conductive shield surrounds stranded, ultra-pure PCOFC copper conductors, aimed at delivering that fragile signal cleanly and directly with minimal added noise.
