The A-80 takes the design ideas from the flagship A-300 monoblocks and packages them into a single stereo Class A amplifier, making that sound easier to bring home.

A 10-parallel push-pull MOS-FET output stage delivers a genuinely potent 65 watts per channel in pure Class A operation, with output climbing sharply as impedance drops. New noise-reduction circuitry gives it a striking sense of quiet detail, and the same cast-iron insulator feet and hairline aluminum finish as its bigger sibling round out the presentation.
