Running in Class A the whole way through means constant bias and none of the crossover distortion that can creep into AB designs, and the 20-parallel push-pull MOS-FET output stage backs that up with genuine muscle: up to 1,000 watts into a 1-ohm load. A fully discrete balanced input stage keeps the noise floor extremely low, and the cast-iron feet and aluminum top plate give it the weight and finish to match its performance.
